Election Day Inspired Cocktails Across Los Angeles
Election Day is exactly one week away and restaurants across Los Angeles will be serving up specialty cocktails in honor of this monumental day in American history.
Every guest who comes in to Tortilla Republic during Election Day wearing their “I Voted” sticker will receive a complimentary “Viva La Vote” margarita. Viva La Vote is made with Maestro Dobel tequila, house made blueberry syrup, fresh strawberry and raspberry purée, lime sweet, and blue curaçao.
WP24 will be serving the Rhetoric Remedy cocktail featuring orange vodka, fernet, lemon and champagne float ($16) from November 1 through November 10.
Celebrate the “Election with Lexington” via a red, white, and blue “Flag Flight” cocktail special, offered during election week and featuring three cocktail tastings for $18. Tastings include: muddled strawberries and basil leaves, simple syrup, vodka, apricot liquor, lemon juice, tiny dash of peach bitters, and a dash of sprite (the red); tanteo chocolate, coffee liqueur, horchata (the white); and lightly muddled serrano chili and sage leaves, reposado tequila, blue curaçao, fresh lime juice, agave nectar, and fresh pear puree over ice (the blue).
A premiere waterside dining destination is hosting an Election Night viewing party in the bar and lounge starting at 4 p.m. There will be continuous election coverage on the flat-screen televisions, all-night happy hour, and $6 election-themed cocktails such as the Barockin’ Bayonet made with coconut tequila, blue curaçao and lime. Patrons that arrive with their “I Voted” sticker will get a complimentary drink with purchase of another cocktail.
