Food & Wine’s Chefs Club Announces Season 3 Lineup
Chefs Club by FOOD & WINE in Aspen, Colorado, announces its new lineup of brilliant guests chefs; all have won FOOD & WINE’s prestigious Best New Chef award, honoring the country’s most promising up-and-coming talents. This is the third season of FOOD & WINE Best New Chefs to curate seasonal menus at Chefs Club since the restaurant opened in June 2012, bringing the FOOD & WINE brand to life.
The new menu will debut at Chefs Club the weekend of the 2013 FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen, June 14-16, featuring signature dishes by Jason Franey (2011) of Canlis in Seattle, Viet Pham (2011) of Forage in Salt Lake City, Bryant Ng (2012) of The Spice Table in Los Angeles, and Missy Robbins (2012) of A Voce in New York City. Through May 2014, each chef will make appearances at the restaurant to lead culinary classes and other events. Seasonal dishes from the guest chefs will be offered alongside selections from Chefs Club by FOOD & WINE Executive Chef Didier Elena.
“I am thrilled to be able to work with this next season of Best New Chefs,” says Elena. “Each chef comes from a very different background and will bring a new perspective and flavor to Chefs Club. We’ll have refined Italian cuisine by Missy Robbins; Viet Pham’s focus on locally sourced ingredients; the vibrant flavors of Southeast Asia from Bryant Ng; and Jason Franey’s contemporary take on the classics. Season 3 promises to offer something for everyone.”
FOOD & WINE Executive Wine Editor Ray Isle will create special wine pairing menus throughout the year to complement the dynamic wine list by Chefs Club Sommelier LeeAnn Kaufman. In addition, a custom cocktail list will be created for Chefs Club by Jim Meehan, FOOD & WINE Contributing Editor and Deputy Editor FOOD & WINE Cocktails, highlighting the summer’s finest ingredients.

Chefs Club by FOOD & WINE is located in The St. Regis Aspen Resort and features an open kitchen and interactive chef’s counter. The art displayed in Chefs Club by FOOD & WINE is curated seasonally by local artists.
