Oliveto Announces Details for Twelfth Annual Oceanic Dinners
Oliveto owners Bob and Maggie Klein, and Executive Chef Jonah Rhodehamel are pleased to invite guests to experience the Twelfth Annual Oceanic Dinners from Tuesday, July 9 through Friday, July 12, 2013. Chef Jonah will present a menu of dishes based on varieties of fish and shellfish from off the Pacific Coast as well as from sustainable fisheries farther from home. Highlights of this year’s event will include a traditional raw bar and a bella vista in the dining room where guests may view and select whole fish to order, and then specify their preferred method of preparation.
Tom Worthington of Monterey Fish Market, expert on everything relevant to fish and shellfish, fisheries, catchment methods, oceanic conditions, etc., has been Oliveto’s supplier and advisor for many years, and has provided Chef Jonah with recommendations for this year’s offerings.
The menu for the Twelfth Annual Oceanic Dinners will provide guests an array of extraordinary seafood dishes in à la carte fashion, with cooked and raw appetizer options, pastas made to complement the selected fish and shellfish, a broad selection of courses from the grill, and seasonal dessert surprises from Oliveto’s imaginative Pastry Chef Kam Golightly. A list of exceptional wines will also be offered for a perfect pairing with each dish.
