In this modern age of busy and fast-paced lifestyles, people are always on the lookout for a quick answer to satisfy their cravings for that healthy and delicious home-cooked meal. Now there is a solution; thanks to the endless tasty options offered at Asian Box ~ the first Asian gluten-free dining destination of its kind, bridging the gap between a fast-casual and neighborhood restaurant. Offering an explosively flavorful, authentic, affordable, and cooked-to-order menu with all housemade sauces and marinades, Asian Box further differentiates itself by using only high-quality, all-natural ingredients and compostable packaging. “We have a well received product and a great team with which to grow,” says Frank Klein, CEO.  “We are excited about the opportunities on the horizon.”

Husband-and-wife duo, Culinary Director Chad Newton, and Executive Chef Grace Nguyen effortlessly marry the Northern California approach to cuisine with the colorful, aromatic foods found throughout Southeast Asia, offering a made-to-order menu that is completely craveable. “People want more clearly defined and authentic flavors,” Nguyen says. Expanding on the current menu formula of base + protein + fresh toppings + sauce, the chefs continue to roll out seasonal limited time offers. The reception of their food has been such a hit since opening their two branches in Palo Alto and Mountain View last year that Asian Box has expanded to and just added a third branch which recently opened in downtown San Francisco. Located at 170 O’Farrell St. within Macy’s Marketplace at Union Square, Asian Box offers an authentic, customizable, and health-conscious menu. The team will open additional locations in Los Angeles by the end of the year.

Asian Box’s concept is basically to provide quick, good-quality, healthy meals inspired by Asian street food where consumers can actually build their own box and personalize the base, protein, vegetables, and sauces to their own liking. All food items are gluten-free and prices are very affordable. Knowing that the majority of ingredients are made from scratch, the produce is sourced locally, and all packaging is eco-friendly is a big plus for their customers. With so many great combinations to choose from, Asian Box is definitely a must-try for people seeking fast and healthy food on the go. And when you visit, please don’t forget to top that order with their very famous and oh-so-delicious Asian Box Street Dust that just completes the whole taste experience!
