Fast Food Français (F3) Hosts Pop-Up Bar With Bartending Veterans Brian Felley and Mo Hodges
Sausalito’s innovative French-American restaurant, Fast Food Français (F3), will host a Pop-Up Bar featuring Brian Felley and Mo Hodges of Encinal Spirits for two Sunday evenings on December 1 and 15, 2013 starting at 5:30 p.m.
The restaurant invites guests to enjoy a night out at the modern-styled French bistro and indulge in the duos seasonal cocktail creations, paired alongside a dish or appetizer that embraces the restaurant’s playful American “fast-food” classics with a hint of French inspiration.
The two will be behind the bar during dinner service, beginning at 5:30 p.m., showcasing a seasonal menu of six cocktails as well as a special feature named the “Dealer’s Choice,” which allows guests to describe what they’re craving and the barmen will create a custom drink to their liking.
Cocktails offered for the evenings include, Marin County Cocktail with whiskey, Cognac, dry vermouth, chocolate and grapefruit bitters, garnished with a grapefruit twist; Pompeii Fizz with gin, lemon, Pamplemousse Liqueur, Lillet Blanc and egg white; and Marty Sour with barrel aged gin, citrus, vermouth, Maraschino Liqueur and orange bitters
Details: Friends of Bruno Denis, co-owner of F3, Felley and Hodges have more than 20 years combined bar experience and have been featured in The New York Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, 7×7, and numerous other publications. Former owners of the Tenderloin bar Big in San Francisco, the two are known for seasonal, farm-to-glass cocktails utilizing local products and produce. They have recently appeared at other pop-up bars, such as the Love Boat Pop-Up Bar in San Francisco, as well as competing in SF Weekly’s Drink Cocktail Competition.
