Berlinetta Lounge Presents “Flights + Bites” Wine Series Starting Tuesday, March 18, 2014

, the private events space at the Mystic Hotel, will open to the public for a new Flights + Bites Wine Series beginning Tuesday March 18, 2014. The March event on will be themed around green wines; think natural, eco-friendly and biodynamic pours to celebrate the spring equinox. Burritt Room + Tavern Executive Chef Luke Knox has created a small bite menu to pair with each sip.

The second tasting event in the series, to be held in April, is all about tax season and will showcase those bottles to to splurge on and those where you can save a few pennies. For the third tasting event in May featuring Greg Brewer, winemaker at Melville Winery and for his own label, Brewer-Clifton, we will select a group of wines to remember and those wines you may even lose your memory with that pack a punch.

  • Shrimp and Grits
  • Chicken Liver Tartine, blood orange, black truffle
  • Porchetta, pickled carrots, celery root puree
  • Steak, preserved lemon, crispy fingerling potatoes
  • Tombo Tuna, artichokes, spring onions, tonnato sauce
  • Coconut Custard Filled Donuts, passionfruit coulis
