San Miguel Sound Festival to Feature International Musician Lorde
The first edition of San Miguel SOUND will take place in the beautiful colonial city of San Miguel de Allende from April 4th to the 8th with the music festival showcasing artists from around the world in the styles of Indie, Pop and Folk performing in some of the most unique venues found in and around the long renowned artist city, including the historic center and the main venue the Plaza de Toros.
The line-up of over 40 bands includes both international and Mexican headliner including Washed Out, Neon Indian, Jenny and the Mexicats, Win Win, Here We Go Magic, as well as local bands and groups from across Mexico, which will have the opportunity of performing with international bands and singers.
Festival attendees, many of which traveling to the city for the event, will have the opportunity to experience their favorite music in a number of different atmospheres, such as intimate solo-artist showcases, dance-till-you-drop big stage events and after hour DJ sets.
On Tuesday April 8th the festival continues with a special event featuring LORDE, the international superstar and winner of the 2014 Grammy’s for both Best Pop Solo Performance and Song of the Year for her mega-hit Royals, with her first solo-performance in Mexico.
