The 5th Annual Bay Travel Adventure Show

Once again, the annual Bay Area Travel & Adventure Show was a huge hit amongst travel enthusiasts in the San Francisco Bay Area. The event was held on February 7th & 8th at the Santa Clara Convention Center. The very best travel and adventure experts, tour operators, guides, and travel professionals from across the globe joined the event to assist travel aficionados choose and plan their next vacation destination.
Key note speakers in the Travel & Adventure Show were Rick Steves, travel writer and host of Rick Steves Europe, Peter Greenberg, Emmy-award winning investigative reporter and producer and CBS News Travel Editor, Samantha Brown, the ever-so-famous the charming Travel Channel Host, and Patricia Schultz, author of 1,000 Places to See Before you Die. The speakers talked about their 1st hand experiences in their own adventures, modern day travel, as well as their tips and tricks on how to be a smart traveler and how to make the most out of one’s vacation.
Travel booths featured local destinations in California and other states in the USA, as well as international destinations in Asia and the South Pacific, Mexico and Latin America, Africa, and Europe. The event was packed with people enjoying fun-filled activities, which included wine tastings and pairings, cooking demos, Segway tutorials, as well traditional dance performances at the global beats stage. Also not to be missed was the Yosemite Experience Pavilion Rock Wall, as well door prizes and booth giveaways, ranging from free spring break getaways, tours, Caribbean cruises, travel deals, hotel stay, plane tickets, and much more.
