Both a valuable kitchen resource and an inspiring armchair read, Kitchen Gypsy pairs 100 delicious recipes with Weir’s colorful stories, featuring anecdotes from her extensive travels through Italy, France, Morocco, and more, as well as memories from the first days of California cuisine. With a very special introduction by Alice Waters, Kitchen Gypsy offers an intimate look at the shaping of this celebrated chef, James Beard Award-winning cookbook author, international cooking teacher, award-winning PBS-TV host and producer, and owner of Copita Tequileria y Comida, a modern Mexican restaurant in Sausalito, CA.
