All that glitters is definitely Super Bowl related this week. San Francisco has polished Justin Herman Plaza and the surrounding area to create a gleaming city-within-a-city primed and ready for locals and tourists ready to celebrate Super Bowl 50, with or without tickets to the Big Game. Super Bowl City includes the stellar NFL Experience at Moscone Center (via paid ticket) and a concentrated fan village offering locally-inspired food and wine pairings, interactive sports experiences, free concerts (headliners include Alicia Keys, OneRepublic, Aloe Blacc, The Band Perry, Matt Nathanson and Chris Isaak) plus chances to get up close and personal with football legends. Our opportunity to visit the NFL Experience at Moscone left us a bit starry-eyed. Who knew big, brawny football players secretly like bling? (Check out all 49 Super Bowl rings!). Or that the NFL would team up with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) to offer 50 bespoke footballs benefiting the NFL Foundation? View all 50 balls at nfl.com/auction and place your bids through February 14th. Below are a few details captured in our fashion-focused lens.
