An Oscar Party To Benefit The Tenderloin Health Improvement Partnership
Saint Francis Foundation will host “An Intimate Evening With Oscar” party to coincide with the Academy Awards on Feb. 28, with all proceeds to benefit Tenderloin Health Improvement Partnership (Tenderloin HIP).
The fundraising event will be held in the Penthouse at the Fairmont San Francisco and features cuisine from Executive Chef Andrew Court, as well as live music. Five screening rooms will show the awards ceremony live. Space is limited, and tickets are recommended in advance.
The event is being hosted by the Saint Francis Foundation Ambassadors, which is a support group affiliated with the Foundation and Saint Francis Memorial Hospital. The mission of the Ambassadors is to recognize the diversity, value and needs of the Bay Area LGBT community and to collaborate, partner and foster the work in the community the Hospital serves.
The evening’s Presenting Sponsor is San Francisco philanthropist Lola Bugatto. The Event Sponsor is Fairmont San Francisco, and the Media Sponsor is San Francisco Magazine. The Hon. Vaughn R. Walker and Kate Smith are the honorary hosts, and the Event Chair is Chris Meza, member of the board of Saint Francis Foundation and Chair of the Saint Francis Foundation Ambassadors.
“The Tenderloin Health Improvement Partnership is doing outstanding work, and an ‘Intimate Evening With Oscar’ is a terrific opportunity to support that initiative,” Ms. Bugatto said. “Thanks to the Saint Francis Foundation, Saint Francis Memorial Hospital, Saint Francis Foundation Ambassadors, our generous sponsors and the entire event committee for making this a can’t-miss evening of fun.”
Led by Saint Francis Foundation and Saint Francis Memorial Hospital, Tenderloin HIP was created to improve health outcomes of the Tenderloin community and works closely with local organizations, government agencies, and the philanthropic community. Together with its funding partners, Tenderloin HIP has made more than $2 million in grants to Tenderloin initiatives since 2014.
Tenderloin HIP’s funding partners include Saint Francis Foundation, Saint Francis Memorial Hospital, Wells Fargo, Citi Community Development, PG&E, the San Francisco Foundation, Georgette M. Beainy Trust, Twitter, Carroll Obremskey Charitable Fund, Dolby and the Mayor’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development.
