Filmgoers who attend the Sunday screening of Celebrity-sponsored film “Cooking Up A Tribute” will enjoy a glass of JCB by Jean-Charles Boisset’s French sparkling No. 69 Crémant de Bourgogne with food tastings, carefully curated to bring the tantalizing aromas and flavors featured onscreen to life. A US production directed by Ben Knight, “Cooking Up A Tribute” follows the Roca brothers, Joan, Josep and Jordi Roca, owners of three-Michelin-star, top world restaurant El Celler de Can Roca, as they close the restaurant for five weeks to tour the world with their staff, designing 57 innovative new plates inspired by the global cultures and regional food traditions they encounter.

“We’re excited to bring ‘A Taste of Film’ to the Sonoma International Film Festival,” said Scott Clifton, Director of Sales, Western Region, Celebrity Cruises.  “It’s an amazing experience that fully immerses guests in the film by engaging all the senses, and it showcases the talent and commitment of our food and beverage team. We can’t wait to give festivalgoers a glimpse of what we have onboard.”

“A Taste of Film” pop-up activation will be held at the Celebrity Cruises at Vintage House venue, located at 264 1st St E, Sonoma, CA 95476, on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at 12:30 PM.  To purchase passes or rush cards for the Sonoma International Film Festival, which will be screening over 100 films from more than 14 countries, visit the film festival website at http://sonomafilmfest.org/.

“A Taste of Film” presents films that evoke specific cultural, culinary, or destination experiences, and brings the onscreen scenes to life for guests through exquisite cuisine pairings tailored by Celebrity’s culinary team, led by Michelin-starred chef Cornelius Gallagher. Last December, the program debuted onboard Celebrity Infinity, which will make calls in the Bay Area  in May, September, and October of this year. A Taste of Film also will be available onboard Celebrity Summit this month, and onboard Celebrity Millennium in May 2016, when each ship emerges from a brief refresh.
