Chef David Barzelay, recently named one of Food & Wine magazine’s Best New Chefs, will host Winemaker Steve Clifton at Lazy Bear on May 24 for a special evening of wine pairing dinners. Clifton founded Palmina Wines in 1995, which produces nuanced, low-alcohol wines crafted from Italian varietals in Santa Barbara County, and recently launched La Voix Winery, his first solo project which exclusively explores classic French varietals. His wines will be paired with the entire 12-15 course tasting menu, including some reverse pairings, in which the dish is created around the wine. Seatings will take place at 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm.

Tickets are $275/per person including wine pairings, plus service charge and sales tax, and are available for purchase on the Lazy Bear ticketing site.
