Press Club San Francisco Hosts “Taste Wine Like a Pro” July 21
Press Club’s Sommelier, Mauro Cirilli teaches guests how to describe, taste, analyze and pair wine just like the experts during an info-packed event. Cirilli will lead guests of a journey through the various regions of the wine world while identifying the grapes behind them, understanding the impact of terroir, winemaking style and how to utilize all senses to appreciate wine. The “quiz-free,” casual setting provides an enjoyable wine education within in the relaxed environs of San Francisco’s favorite wine bar and lounge. Each class will include six wines including two reds, two whites, one sweet and one sparkling varietal.
When: Thursday, July 21, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Who: Wine enthusiasts of all levels of study; perfect for corporate groups and team building, each class is offered to a maximum of 18 people to allow for an unintimidating atmosphere and personal guidance from Cirilli.
