The Supper Club Series at Franciscan Estate Winery

Beginning next month, winery chef Cory Strike will partner with local artisan food purveyors to put on a gourmet ‘pop up’ Supper Club at the winery in St. Helena. The program will include two separate events from September to October, each highlighting a unique cuisine or food trend that nicely complements winemaker Janet Myers’ wines. Below is some of the initial information about the first two dinners, with further details to be shared, as available. The third dinner is tentatively scheduled for October 19.

Interactive Tomato and Cheese  ($130; $115 to wine club members)

What: Cheesemaking demonstration from Bellwether Farms followed by three course barbeque dinner under the stars. Each course is paired with specially-selected Franciscan Estate wine. Dessert and coffee to follow

When: Friday, September 28; Ricotta cheese demonstration and wine reception at 6:00pm; dinner at 7:00pm

Where: Franciscan Estate Winery: demonstration in the kitchen followed by dinner and dessert on the Terrace
