9th Annual SummerTini & Live Auction Benefiting the CHEFS Program & Episcopal Community Services

Episcopal Community Services of San Francisco is proud to announce details for the 9th Annual SummerTini event and auction benefiting CHEFS (Conquering Homelessness through Employment in Food Service) and ECS. SummerTini will take place at the Bently Reserve on June 7, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy small bites from the chefs of  San Francisco’s top restaurants, including A16, Nopa, Cupola Pizzeria,The Absinthe Group and more. The event will also offer live music and signature cocktails created especially for SummerTini by San Francisco bar stars from Comstock Saloon, Elixir, Rye and Hakkasan.

Live and silent auctions will offer unique travel packages and dining experiences. Prizes up for bid include a dream culinary and travel experience through the Santa Cruz mountains featuring a seasonal tasting menu with wine pairings at Manresa, as well as a private tour of Love Apple Farms. The package also includes a wine tour, multiple regional dining experiences and hotel stays in Santa Cruz. Other auction items include a tasting menu and an overnight stay at Meadowood as well as a dinner for six with paired wines and a VIP “red carpet” invite to a private party for the opening of Mina Group‘s The Company Bar & Kitchen this summer. CHEFS is a six-month culinary training program providing classroom instruction, hands-on kitchen training in institutional and restaurant settings, and job counseling and placement in the food industry for homeless adults.
