Defining Wine Country Fashion: The Who, How, When

Thursday, August 15th

6:00pm – 9:00pm

Kaye Cloutman, Editor-in-Chief, GEV magazine

Karri Grant, Consulting Fashion Stylist

Mary Orlin, Huffington Post’s Wine Fashionista

Rob Lloyd, Jessup Cellars Winemaker

Moderated by Melissa Haines, Wine Consultant

Just in time for the harvest season, this TasteMaker evening features fashion insight and wisdom from Gastronomique En Vogue (GEV) magazine Editor-in-Chief Kaye Cloutman and Fashion Stylist Karri Grant (known best in the wine world for her work with Wine, Women & Shoes), and fragrance and wine pairings by Huffington Post’s Wine Fashionista, Mary Orlin. Moderated by wine consultant Melissa Haines, the forum will explore designers who have been influenced by wine country, how that influence has manifested itself in style, and how to dress when visiting wine country – from tasting tours to spa time to fine dining.

GEV magazine was created to promote the belief that tasteful and healthy cuisine goes hand-in-hand with beauty, grace, elegance and style, and to inspire its audience to appreciate the joyous marriage of gourmet cuisine and haute couture. This philosophy and vision will come to life in an interactive evening of fashion, wine, stylish small-bites, and art. A full weekend of fashion-focused activities follow. The activities launch a month-long art exhibition by visual artist Cynthia Carey and wearable art designer Rory Castillo. The presentation will be followed by a meet and greet.
