Press Club unveils bright new Wine Library, Summer Menu & selection of Saison beers

Press Club embraces the change in weather with a new summer menu and selection of Saison beers which can be enjoyed in the sunshine of the lounge’s new modern wine library. Executive Chef Chris Borges of Taste Catering & Event Planning has created the bright summery menu providing light and flavorful dishes that can be paired with a limited edition selection of Saisons on tap. These seasonal offerings make Press Club the perfect place to enjoy a warm summer evening.

Summer Flavors

Press Club is offering fresh and colorful dishes that are full of summer flavor. The summer menu is already available, and beginning Monday, July 22, the wine lounge will also offer a selection of Saison Beers, that can accompany a range of dishes. The complex style of beer can be fruity in the aroma and flavor, with mild to moderate tartness. The season’s menu highlights include Fresh Gulf Shrimp with Chilled Melon Consommé and Basil Oil ($12), Chicken Roulade ‘Saltimbocca‘ with Ricotta and Sun Dried Tomato Pesto Stuffing ($14) paired with a flight of three Stillwater Artisanal Ales from Maryland. House Made Eggplant Ravioletti with Miso Butter, Porcini Mushrooms, Squash Blossoms, Mint and Pantafeo ($13) pairs well with the Belgium Brasserie Dupont, Saison Dupont. Other favorites include pizzettas such as the Shaved Toybox Squash and Heirloom Tomato Pizzetta and House Made Fennel Pork Sausage Pizzetta ($11) paired with an Evil Twin Ron and The Beast Ryan Ale from New York (Evil Twin Brewing).

Press Club Wine Library

The newly added wine library adds a nice pop of color to the lobby level of Press Club. This addition to the upstairs level has the same top-notch services as below and offers a place for visitors to soak up the sun on Yerba Buena Lane. Designed by Anna Molina, this library is brought to life through bold, vibrant pops of yellow and green that were specially chosen to reflect the signature green of the wine bottles that line the entrance of the space. The library was created with mobility, flexibility and education in mind. Guests can enjoy the library while being educated on the world of wine and enjoying the perks the library has to offer.
