Chef Yigit Pura Brings Sweetness to San Francisco’s Ferry Plaza Farmers’ Market Today

Beginning today, November 9, a rotating selection of seasonal products from Tout Sweet Pâtisserie will be available for purchase at San Francisco’s Ferry Plaza Farmers’ Market (One Ferry Building, San Francisco).  Each week, Chef Yigit Pura will highlight a selection of Ferry Plaza Farmers’ Market purveyors and farmers and incorporate their products into his rotating menu of pastries, cookies and more!

Among the items available for purchase at the Saturday open-air Ferry Plaza Farmers’ Market will be:

Morning Treats:

  • Nutella Bun: Brioche stuffed with Nutella and topped with Crunchy Nougatine
  • Smoked Cheddar Bacon Scone with Marin Sun Farm Bacon
  • Green Energy Bar, Organic Oats, Organic Peanut Butter, California Nuts, Agave and Dates

Petit Gateaux:

  • Tesla Tart: Meyer Lemon-Yuzu and Passion Fruit Custard Tart
  • Tout Sweet Chocolate Cake:  Layers of Milk Jam, Chocolate Mousse and Flourless Chocolate Cake
  • 5th Element: Vanilla Genoise, Raspberry Cream, Fresh Raspberries, Oolong Tea-Infused White Chocolate
  • Mille-Crepe: Crepes Layered with Vanilla Bean Custard and Scented with Orange Flower Water

Says Pura: “I source almost all of our fruit and produce from the amazing farmers at the Ferry Plaza Farmers’ Market, so this couldn’t be a sweeter platform for Tout Sweet to bring some love to the residents and visitors of San Francisco.  Each week we will highlight 4 to 5 different farmers and their produce in our weekly offerings – from French Macaron to cake to morning yummies.  I’m thrilled to say the least”
