A16 Celebrates 10th Anniversary with an Evening of Classics on February 14

A16After 10 years of being one of San Francisco’s most admired dining destinations, A16 is celebrating the milestone anniversary this Valentine’s Day with a look back at the past decade. Co-owners Shelley Lindgren and Victoria Libin will welcome back original A16 Chef Christophe Hille for the evening to create a menu with Executive Chef Chris Thompson dedicated to the “A16 Classics.” The one-night-only event offers guests a chance to revisit favorite dishes from the past 10 years with a four-course prix fixe menu for $85. Wine Director Shelley Lindgren will complement the menu with an optional wine pairing for $60, highlighting some of her favorite wines from Campania over the years. Lindgren will be on hand along with celebrated winemakers Sabino Loffredo from Pietracupa and Massimo Alois to pour through the indigenous grapes of the Campania region in Southern Italy.

In February 2004, Lindgren and Libin opened the doors to A16 in San Francisco’s Marina district after traveling across the autostrada highway that runs from Naples to Canosa, Puglia in Southern Italy, for which the restaurant is named. Since opening ten years ago, A16 has become an award-winning dining destination offering fresh pasta, house-butchered and house-cured meats, and authentic Neapolitan pizza, with wines that highlight the indigenous grapes from regions such as Campania, Sardinia, and Sicily.
