Anchor Distilling Company and RN74 Offer a “Spirited Rivalry” Cocktail Competition in San Francisco on Monday, March 24, 2014

Anchor Distilling Co. and RN74 will partner for a cocktail competition at the restaurant in San Francisco on March 24, 2014, pitting eight bartender contestants and their cocktails, highlighting HINE Vintage Cognacs,BarSol Pisco, and No. 3 London Dry Gin, against one another, and paired with the cuisine of Chef Adam Sobel.

DETAILS: Anchor Distilling Co. and RN74 invite the public to take part in the action when eight of the region’s top bartenders compete in a high-stakes game of craft cocktail-making on Monday, March 24. Beginning at 3:00 p.m., a panel of judges will taste cocktails made by the bartenders, featuring HINE Vintage Cognacs, BarSol Pisco, and No. 3 Gin, and through the process of elimination, choose two finalists. The Opening Rounds are open for all RN74 guests to watch and partake in happy hour cocktails featuring the contest spirits.

In the final round beginning at 5:30 p.m., the last two bartenders standing will be challenged to create three cocktails that pair with three surprise dishes by Chef Sobel. Guests who choose to stay for the dinner portion of the event are tasked with choosing the winner of the “RN74 Heavyweight Title.”

5:30 p.m. Final Round; $55 to eat, drink and judge a three course meal from Chef Adam Sobel, paired with cocktails by two bartender finalists
