Imagine an eco-terrorism, fictional plot to destroy the Domaine de la Romanée Conti – Burgundy’s tiny, storied vineyard that produces some of the most expensive, exquisite wines in the world. Now imagine that the plot was real, though not eco-terrorismm, but small town French politics! This is a story sure to grab the hearts and throats of wine cultures around the world, and it’s coming to Handwritten Wines StoryTellers Series on August 1st.

When award-winning editor and investigative journalist Maximillian Potter went to Burgundy to report for Vanity Fair on a crime that could have destroyed the Domaine de la Romanée Conti, he soon found a story that was much larger, and more thrilling, than he’d originally imagined.
