Yountville Int’l Short Film Festival Returns February 7 – 10

Three Pop-Up Cinemas, 100-Plus Shorts in 20 Themed Blocks, Best Intermission in Film

The 2nd Annual Yountville Int’l Short Film Festival (YISFF) will be held February 7 – 10 in Napa Valley’s culinary capital of Yountville. Sponsored by the Town of Yountville and its world-class lodging establishments, and inspired by the annual Jessup Cellars Art House Short Film Series (Jan – April), the YISFF features an incredible lineup of more than 100 imagination-stretching short films from across the globe, shown over four days. The films are programmed into more than 20 screening blocks plus special events, a testament to the creative range of the featured films.

“The Yountville business community is so proud to bring back the short film festival after it’s inaugural launch last February,” said Chamber President & CEO Whitney Diver McEvoy. “As guests experienced in year one, this festival combines all the best that Yountville is known for, compelling art, culinary excellence, world-renowned wine, all presented in an intimate and friendly setting.”

The films exemplify excellence in every genre from thought-provoking documentaries and dramatic shorts, to world cinema; comedy shorts, entertaining science fiction/horror selections, beautifully crafted animation, to family-friendly shorts and more. In true Yountville-style, the food and wine experiences known as ‘the best intermission in film’ will be as unforgettable as the screenings. The festival again features three Pop-Up Cinemas located at The Barrel Room at The Estate YountvilleBardessono Inn & Resort and Heritage Room at the Community Hall.

The YISFF VIP Passes include four events featuring wine tastings, these include Cabernet Cinema, Cuvée Cinema, Champagne Cinema, and the Jessup Cellars February installment of its Art House Short Film Series screened at Bardessono Inn & Resort’s pop-up theater.
In partnership with CellarPass.com, the festival’s schedule and ticketing is available at YISFF.com.
