‘Garden Society | The Podcast’ Launches Season One

New podcast series from Garden Society founders focuses on joy, entrepreneurship, parenting, startups, marriage, diversity, self-care, guilt,
and sure — cannabis

Garden Society, a woman-owned and -operated cannabis wellness brand based in Sonoma County, is delighted to announce the launch of its new audio series “Garden Society | The Podcast.”

Available everywhere podcasts are found, Garden Society’s new biweekly show is a source of cannabis and business education that’s easy to understand and access for women who are looking for ways to balance their time and energy among work, personal needs, family, and friendships. You needn’t partake of cannabis to enjoy the episodes, but if you do, you’ll find even more to connect with.

Themed around the concept of “Finding Your Joy,” Season 1 encompasses 11 episodes. Episodes 1 and 2 are already live at GardenSociety.com.

Episode 1 introduces us to Garden Society co-founders and partners Erin Gore and Karli Warner, who share the origin story of their business and let us get to know them as friends, business partners, and young mothers of growing families.

“We are girlfriends, wives, moms, sisters, bill-payers, breadwinners, caretakers and peacemakers,” Gore explains.

Warner adds, “We are pioneers in search of more holistic ways to recover from the rigors of our daily lives. We seek new ways to gain perspective — and constantly look for ways to make the ordinary extraordinary.”

Episode 2 begins the podcast’s mission of exploring the connection between women’s work and personal lives by interviewing Alice co-founders Elizabeth Gore and Carolyn Rodz. Alice is an AI platform that helps new entrepreneurs launch and maintain their businesses. In this session, Gore and Rodz discuss Mom guilt, having each other’s backs, and the challenges of bootstrapping a new company while keeping your day job and taking care of your family.

Upcoming episodes will interview women entrepreneurs within and outside of the cannabis space on such universal topics as building community; getting past the cannabis stigma; scaling your company while staying sane; the value of self-care; why finding a mentor is key; smart fundraising; and the pursuit of joy.

“Telling women’s stories in the cannabis world and the entrepreneurial space is so important to us,” says Gore. “We’re really committed to finding ways to lead, connect, and give back. This podcast series allows us to give a platform to other entrepreneurs we admire. Plus, we get to learn from them as we go!”

Warner adds, “Podcasts offer a far-reaching communication tool that we are excited to leverage. This is more than just another way for us to forge a connection with our consumer base. We’re really excited to share the truths and realities from our own experiences, even the bad ones, with other women. We are all in this together!”

“Garden Society | The Podcast” is recorded in Oakland, CA, with producer Johanna Nuding of Casually Baked, a highly responsible cannabis lifestyle and media company focusing on the consumers’ cannabis experience and accessible wellness edutainment.

“Garden Society | The Podcast” is available on iTunesSpotify, and GardenSociety.com.
